Button works intermittently? That's unusual!
Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my power button. It often requires more than one press to turn on the PC, sometimes needing two or three, and it feels inconsistent. From what I found online, this could be related to the PSU. My current setup uses a NZXT H710 case with an ASRock X570 motherboard running a Ryzen 7 5800X. Do you have any advice on possible causes?
Might be only part of the front panel connector failing. This doesn’t seem like a PSU problem at all.
I would first check if the power switch is defective. Remove the power switch from the motherboard and use a screwdriver or another metal tool to connect the power pins together. If it activates each time by connecting them, then the power switch is likely faulty.
