Hey there, anyone have a suggestion on how to use the code you received for Wolf and Control on your 1080ti? I only have a 20class card and it expires in two days. I checked local stores but couldn't redeem it anywhere, and none of my friends own that series. It doesn't seem to be available at Pacific stores either. Would anyone with a 20class card be able to help me redeem it? That would be really appreciated.

Reach out to your store.
Get in touch with Nvidia.
Just let it go—it’s a free game, so you won’t lose any money on it.

I would say that if I actually obtained the games to review, I understand fully. A) most individuals can afford upgrades, and B) Nivida won’t push back on this issue; they seem unlikely to help. I attempted them but just ignored them and suggested contacting the retailer. They provided a code, but it gave no benefit.

Additionally, as a student nearing 200 in my currency, this amount is a significant saving for me—it would be hard to afford otherwise. These bundles appear heavily biased toward Nivida, leaving little room for them to take responsibility. Their response was dismissive, and I tried reaching out via Twitter, but they didn’t respond meaningfully.

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, but I’m still only at 75 views with just one comment—mostly a shrug. I expected more. Code folks: 5aBIT6gXSdzUEXEN3zbV7Q1s. I hope this gesture encourages you to reconsider not ignoring students in the future. *Redeem this in GeForce Experience obviously if you don’t have the card like me, it won’t work I* hoped for a better outcome than none at all, but at least someone should care.

I appreciate your effort in seeking sympathy by labeling those who don't assist as "someone who doesn't care."

I don't understand what was expected. We can't assist with matters beyond our control. First, Nvidia codes are only valid with the same card. Second, they could be restricted by region to avoid selling codes, meaning a local presence would be needed to redeem them. Third, it's usually not wise to give something away and hope for a refund or repayment of your account funds. That approach rarely works.

This is why the forum can't provide guidance on this issue. If the bundle comes from a retailer, they should supply functional codes. Should it be part of an ended campaign, retailers remain accountable as they posted misleading ads. If a retailer doesn’t deliver, you can reference your chat or email records to Nvidia (unless the campaign has expired at the time of purchase, in which case it’s their responsibility).

The third point still holds true. Games are typically free. You can compare bundle prices with regular versions to see what you’re getting for your money.

Lastly, buying a 1080Ti graphics card as a student is tough. I’ve got 780 Founders that I purchased secondhand—being a student with limited funds means upgrading isn’t an option. Getting a new €1000 GPU as a student is out of the question and would be a huge burden. That’s about the cost of living for months, even though a used one at €500 is more reasonable but still beyond what I can afford.

Well, it seems like what I’m saying is that I’m taken aback by the sadness expressed here, each person handling it differently. But I think many probably didn’t really engage with this and just thought, “nah, not my problem.” Still, I’m curious if anyone understood at least a bit, because for free it means things come with a price—especially with the GPU again, that’s just my guess, maybe someone managed to use it.
