When using twisted pair with a repeater, you're connecting both buildings through ground bonding. If they don't already share a common ground, you risk issues like stray voltage and lightning effects. Ground potential stays underground, not on the surface. Feeding the out building with a 220V line could be considered a common ground, but the low-cost twisted pair might only last a few years.

Verify the presence of a ground connection on the outbuilding's panel, typically located in the main cable bundle. If confirmed, it indicates proper ground bonding.

Uncertain about your location, but in the UK it's required for an outbuilding to have its own site.

An electrician confirmed the setup is already grounded via the 220 line. Another expert advised grounding the PoE injector as well. Using the suggested products should allow you to connect a PoE access point and later switch it back to Cat 6. The items also appear compatible for simultaneous use.
