Building new PC
Building new PC
Hello, I’m planning to purchase a new system this year. The only positive aspect of my old PC is the RTX3070 GPU. Should I retain it or upgrade it to a 40 series model? I’m also searching for other components that will last me several years.
I’ll be using my PC for gaming and streaming. Right now I have a 27-inch 1440p monitor at 144hz, but I’m considering upgrading to a newer IPS display.
Could anyone suggest a solid setup? Or should I wait for the 15th generation Intel CPUs? I’m based in Poland and my budget is roughly 6000-7000 PLN without a new GPU.
I generally purchase components from x-kom.pl or komputronik.pl
However, it might be feasible to acquire parts from the UK
"This year"...
I would prefer to wait until at least the 15th generation Intel chips are available. The latest rumor I've heard suggests they should be ready by this time. I'm just hoping for it myself. Of course, the waiting period is entirely up to you, and it's uncertain how much the improvements will actually be. The new socket for the 15th generation could also be a plus in your situation.
