i could only find one option... even a 4+4 setup. but my corsair rm750x has enough connectors, though with less total power. the furthest I’d go soon is the 13700k tdp 125w (will pair it with 7200 ddr5) and the rtx 5070 tdp 250w. if the 13700k needs all the power, i’d likely prefer a weaker psu that has all the necessary connectors. that’s for later though because... now my other issue is on a different topic so i won’t repeat it here (sata drives not detected on the new board... smh). well, the rm750x is heavier than the 850w psu (is it heavy? yes), and it also has good cable management. i might switch it out while i’m working on it.

i'm kind of done waiting for something that will likely never happen.. simply put is RX 9070 XT a good alternative for RTX 5070?
that said of course now i must realize that the 9070 is also kind of sold out all over the place.
ok so differently asked: let's assume both rtx 5070 (not the ti) and the rx 9070 xt 16gb is available, which would be a better pick? i won't pay extra 200+ for 4 extra gb vram. meaning i'm shooting for the $600 give-or-take price 'range'

In today's GPU landscape, spending $600 will only secure a 9700 non-XT model

just browsing and hearing people recommend rx 7800 xt which is actually available for purchase, not just a myth for regular folks. but i don't think it's worth upgrading from the rtx 3070. i already have the 3070 and i'm not sure i'd go through the trouble of selling for $300 if i'm lucky enough, especially to get a card that's a little better for double the price.

sorry just venting and i'll probably just sit back and relax. i'm tired of looking. i'll just play 😀

Sure, I understand your concern. Is it acceptable to purchase an RX 9070 XT for around $777?
