My CPU cooler speeds up to full capacity for 5-10 seconds during idle periods. I notice the GPU fan clicks and activates when the system starts. I've tolerated this behavior for a year since it hasn't affected my main setup. Should I replace the Gigabyte board or install a watercooler? A forum member mentioned only one core is recognized, which might be causing issues. Are others experiencing similar problems? I purchased the CPU and motherboard at launch, along with a 4TB SSD to avoid slow storage. The issue seems linked to the AMD 3950X EVGA 2980 TI GSKILL 32GB RAM Corsair RM750X Aorus Master X570. It appears more noise during heavy app usage even when idle.

The issue seems consistent, happening every few to ten seconds in random moments. It might be related to the board or your power supply unit. Check if your PSU can handle the load.

It's happening more often and getting louder. I'm not willing to keep using the motherboard or CPU anymore. The CPU is only running at 8%, with just the VMware and a browser active.
