What motherboard are you running? Please also make sure your BIOS is current, or reset it if needed. Windows can handle scheduling cores effectively on its own.

Make sure the checkbox for "number of processors" is selected or adjust its value in the dropdown. Click OK and restart the system.

As mentioned earlier, the number of processors shouldn't be verified unless you wish to control how many cores Windows utilizes. Disable it to leverage all available cores.
