I possess roughly 25 identical computers, each operational and connected through a switch with blank hard drives. There is one master PC where I'm attempting to install Rocks, but we're unsure about the best approach for deploying the OS across all machines simultaneously or individually. This situation has also led me to reconsider whether Rocks is suitable for our needs. We plan to utilize the cluster for tasks like folding, Boinc, or various compute operations. The current challenge is that when we insert the Rocks Cluster CD it boots but refuses to recognize it as a bootable media—do we need to restart the PC with it installed? Additionally, I’m not very familiar with the setup process for the rollout. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You might be dealing with a damaged disc, that's possible. My background is mainly with Beowulf clusters that don't use the same operating system, and they rely on MPI. But MPI functions only for code designed for it, so this won't help if you need performance from a ready-made program.
