I've been thinking about upgrading my setup for a while now. Right now I have an i5 3470 with 3.20 GHz, 8 GB Vengeance RAM, and the RX 550 4 GB. I was considering the i5 9400f but opted for Ryzen instead. My current rig includes a Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x, and I’m planning to get another one of those in the future. I have a B450M DS3H and intend to stick with the RX 550 until I can afford something better like the GTX 1650 VENTUS XS 4GB. I’m not sure what power supply to choose—something affordable and reliable. What are your thoughts? Should I make any changes?

Request the 1600AF and A-ARock B450 Pro 4 or MSI B450 Pro-VDH. For the PSU, consider a Corsair CX450 for the GPU, and add an RX570.

You might be able to get a Ryzen 5 1600AF for less money.

They don’t seem to offer many affordable and reliable power supplies.

I'll select the B450 Tomahawk Max equipped with either a 2600 or 3600 motor.
