Budget Headset Advice
Budget Headset Advice
Hi!
I'm searching for a new headset with a budget not higher than $80. I've already narrowed down a few options that suit my needs.
I plan to use it for gaming, music, and movies. I value clear audio more than strong bass, though I’m okay with a bit of bass as long as it doesn’t affect clarity. Previously, a headset with some bass made the sound sound muffled, so I want something balanced.
Here are the headsets you mentioned (prices are what they’re listed in my country):
A4tech - Bloody G528C - $50
Asus TUF Gaming H1 - $38
Bloody G528C RGB - $41
MSI DS502 - $97
Philips Hi-Fi SHC5200/10 - $67
Sandberg Disruptor - $64
Sharkoon SKILLER SGH30 - $54
Superlux - HD681 EVO - $43
Thermaltake - Shock Pro RGB - $71
Turtle Beach - Stealth 500 - $70
Venom Sabre Stereo - $50
If you have any better recommendations within this budget, I need to consider these essentials:
I’m based in the EU and will buy from local sellers. The total cost must stay under $80.
The headset should have an adjustable headstrap made from softer materials, as shown in your list.
If it’s wired, a braided cable is required. I’ve used non-braided cables before and they lasted only a few months.
Sound quality is more important than bass for me; I’m fine with some bass as long as it doesn’t interfere with clarity.
Also, for those who know more: what should I focus on when picking a headset? I’ve owned $30 models that sounded better than some in the $50 range. Thanks!
I’m based in the EU and will buy from here. The cost should not go past $80.
Do you have access to Koss? If yes, you can check these options;
