Hello, I've been facing several BSODs lately and was seeking assistance. I've encountered two BSOD messages: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and WHAE_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. While researching solutions, I noticed many discussions suggested overclocking as the cause. After some testing, I adjusted my power settings in Windows and set the maximum processor rate to 99%. However, my games are now very slow and not playable. I also explored CPU-Z while using the program and discovered my core speeds fluctuate a lot. When I set the max processor rate to 99%, my core speed stays around 3400 mhz, but jumping to 100% causes it to swing between 800 and 5100 mhz. I plan to share a video explaining this below (with my specs). In short, should I increase the overclock for better stability or try something else?

The 99% power saving mode in Windows significantly reduces CPU performance, limiting it to its base speed and removing any boost capabilities. Lowering the percentage further decreases performance even more. This change might resolve certain BSOD issues but generally causes games to run slower. It's typical for frequencies to fluctuate between idle and full boost depending on workload. Modern CPUs handle this behavior naturally. You're referring to overclocking or normal boost with all settings enabled?
