I recently acquired a Wi-Fi router supporting 6GHz and wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 for that bandwidth. I had used Windows 11 before but stopped because the interface didn’t meet my preferences. Now I’m trying the update, though it’s failing. I also updated my GPU drivers just in case. My system specs include an Intel i7-10700K, RTX 3070, 970 EVO Plus, and 48GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM on an ASUS Prime Z490P.

If the Windows setup fails, you might need to reinstall it, which is usually recommended even for version changes. Alternatively, you can attempt a system restore if it's offered.

Are you referring to an in-place upgrade or a full installation? It’s better to install the latest BIOS, fresh W11, and current drivers directly from the chipset makers. Skipping these steps often leads to issues and extra complications.
