BSOD Stop Code: Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page
Hi, I finally got one of those scary BSOD screens. It said: "Your thing ran into a problem and needs a hard restart. We are just gathering some error info, and then we'll restart for you. The stop code was Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page" Would really appreciate any help in checking if something is broken and how to fix it. Thanks
That sounds like a memory (RAM) error. There are two ways to check your RAM... If you have several sticks, take one out and run just the others for a bit. If it still shows that bad blue screen, try swapping the stick again. This is 100% sure to find a faulty RAM stick. Download Memtest86, use the tool on top to make a bootable USB drive, then put the USB in your PC and run it. When Memtest86 starts up, it will begin testing right away. This will find about 95 percent of most memory problems.
