It seems your memory might be faulty. Run a test with MemTest86+. A failing hard drive could cause similar issues and lead to failure over time. Consider replacing it promptly.

The main menu appears because the test didn't complete successfully. It might mean the issue is with the driver file you're trying to extract. You could try running the test again, or check the source of the data for problems like corruption or incomplete transfers. If the files are damaged or missing, consider re-downloading them from a reliable place.

In MemTest, avoid seeing the main display; it should present the test outcomes instead. A CRC fault on the hard drive signals a malfunctioning drive. Please ensure you have backups, as the drive might fail unexpectedly at any moment.

I’ve tried the hard disk using the official program, which appears to be Data Lifeguard by Western Digital. It mentions an issue, but there’s nothing I can do about it. It seems the disk itself might be faulty—hopefully a replacement will work. Thanks!

Yup, a physical defect in the drive. WD software can't fix that. Once you get your drive sorted out with a new one, then we can work with the other issues. They might be related. Good luck, let us know how it works out
