Hello everyone, my new Dell XPS 13 from 2020 kept freezing for hours yesterday due to BSODs and the Windows Recovery Environment. After it stopped working, I managed to fix it. Now it’s crashing again, but I think I resolved the issue. It seems there was a Page fault error. When I searched for drivers online, Chrome said it couldn’t load because there wasn’t enough RAM. I checked and found that about 500MB remains, with 7.5GB running at once—definitely not enough. Can anyone help me get it back to normal performance? Thanks!

You downloaded a background process. Try enabling it, check the task manager, and capture its activity in the memory or RAM section. It seems to be consuming excessive resources.

I checked Task Manager, but only two applications exceeded 200 MB in size.

It seems you're curious about what's consuming the remaining RAM.

The largest file is the antimalware service executable from Microsoft Defender Antivirus, occupying about 200MB. Next is the Waves Maxx Audio Service app at 140MB.
