Hi Everyone, My friend bought a new Acer Nitro 5 laptop with the specified specs. He's facing BSOD errors with a DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE problem, even during simple tasks like browsing or using MS Word. The issue happens 2 to 4 times daily. Using BluescreenView in Windows it shows "ntoskrnl.exe" as the problem. So far, he's tried cleaning the Windows and drivers, ran MemTest86 (passed), uninstalled antivirus, updated drivers, and updated BIOS. Any suggestions to fix this? Hope it isn't a hardware issue. Thanks in advance.

Have you attempted to restore BIOS settings to their original state? It seems like a factory problem might be the cause.

Probably a physical component, get ready for a return authorization.

Process the return, there seems to be an issue with the hardware.

I checked the details and found many discussions about the same problem, but no resolved examples. This seems more related to software than hardware. Are you certain?

It's possible the issue lies with the hardware rather than the driver. With the original factory image and a fresh installation, it's more likely a hardware problem. Since you purchased a new item, it should function properly without additional complications. Let them handle it.
