-Killed motherboard on the original laptop
-Second laptop identical, appears better than the first one, factory date a few months older
-installed SSDs and RAM from the first laptop into the second one
operates normally right away, then experienced first BSOD after roughly two hours, followed by intermittent crashes every few hours or during various tasks—sometimes gaming, sometimes browsing or YouTube, occasionally straight-to-black screen freezes or restarts, often two in a row or once an hour, sometimes longer gaps
have spent considerable time troubleshooting using online resources and updating drivers from official sites, Memtest, HWInfo, Windows Memory Diagnostic, system refresh, BIOS updates, swapping RAM sticks, DISM, SFC, DDU for GPU drivers, and reinstalling, plus some details I might have missed, grateful for any assistance
now runs almost a full day without BSOD or crashes after a fresh Windows install (files intact) and several driver updates
link to minidumps in compressed file:

Thank you very much for your time on this matter

Maintaining files during a clean Windows installation isn't ideal. I recommend performing a fresh installation. This process clears all software conflicts, which frequently lead to BSoD and crashes. If problems persist after the clean install, consider hardware-related causes. For storing personal files, you'll need a second drive. Perform a clean Windows install on the second drive, empty it, and retain your primary OS drive as the data source, keeping your personal information there (but avoid booting from it).

Sure, you can try using the Reset my PC function in System - Recovery and choose "Remove everything." Or, you could use the boot drive that came with Laptop 2, which has a fresh Windows installation on it. Either method should work right away without needing a USB thumb drive.

When you reinstall the operating system, you must format the OS drive. Detailed instructions for Windows 10 are available here: https://forums. At the start, the guide explains how to create a USB flash drive for installation; however, scrolling further reveals the OS installation instructions. Step #6 requires making different decisions compared to before to achieve a clean install (Custom), after which you can follow the subsequent steps. A similar in-depth guide exists for Windows 11: https://forums.
