Hi Everyone, I just completed my first PC build following Linus' guide. It performed excellently yesterday and today games ran smoothly. Then I restarted for a Windows update but encountered a BSOD repeatedly. The error message displayed included IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL PFN_LIST_CORRUPT CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED MEMOY_MANAGEMENt among others, but I missed several. I also checked the onboard graphics to rule out GPU issues, but it didn’t help. Now I’m stuck—can’t even access BIOS. The machine freezes after roughly 30 seconds, making it impossible to log in or install Windows. I updated the BIOS beforehand but can’t reinstall. What should I do? Is this a 32-bit or 64-bit build? Thanks, Kristian.

Open Event Viewer and navigate to Windows Logs, sorting by date from newest to oldest. Check for a high volume of errors; if present, choose them and export the events to aid troubleshooting. To save, go to Action > Save selected events... and provide a name for the export. Also, ensure all drivers are current—avoid third-party tools like “driver easy” and obtain drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website.

Sorry, the system keeps freezing after roughly 30 seconds no matter what I try. It won’t let me open Windows before the crash occurs.

The issue was resolved by reinserting one of the DDR5 DIMMs.
