Your DNS settings could be inactive. This often occurs when a DSL modem shuts down after reaching its usage limit. That's why I sometimes include Google DNS on the PC.

1 - Clear your DNS settings
2 - If the previous steps fail, switch to a different DNS server
3 - Should 1 or 2 not resolve the issue, use another browser and connect via Wi-Fi if available
