I returned a few games I never played and received 20 euros, but I’m expecting an additional 20 euros. They haven’t responded yet. Should I consider buying the AC Brotherhood or AC Revelations? I’m leaning toward a longer story, aiming for as much detail as possible. Revelations looks like the better option at the moment.
If you're only interested in those two titles and you've already enjoyed Assassin's Creed II (the one you think was the best), I'd pick Brotherhood to keep the story going. Plus, Desmond's narrative in Brotherhood felt more engaging for me. While Revelations let you play both Altaïr and Ezio, I really liked the first two games equally. After that point, the rest of the series didn't quite live up to my expectations. But if you're planning to play both eventually, start with Brotherhood now.
Hope you enjoyed playing 2; if so, try brotherhood—it starts right after 2 and is super fun, likely the best part of the series.
I've experienced AC II, and if the narrative holds up, I think it's worth getting that one right away.
Both Ezio's and Desmond's tales will continue uninterrupted from AC II. It's only when you reach AC III and Black Flag that the story becomes unpredictable, and Desmond isn't really involved anymore.
