Hey there, I received an update a few days back that didn’t work. It restarted and told me it was reversing changes. Now I can’t access the UI. I’ve shared this before but haven’t gotten clear answers, so I’m deleting the other post. Here’s a video to illustrate what’s happening—it’s only for an S5, so quality won’t be great. Also, turn down the headphones. Thanks for your help!

I don’t see any video. Typically you need the repair disk or a full Windows restore to fix this issue. I really hate Windows updates.

It seems your boot-up disk became damaged during the update attempt, which is uncommon but possible. You’ll need to obtain a working copy of Windows using a bootable USB or disk and follow the startup repair steps. If the problem persists, a full reinstall might be required. The information on your drive should still be accessible without issues.

I experienced the same issue before. A recent update completely crashed Windows. After the Windows 8 start screen appeared, I saw only a black screen that kept flickering. Using my recovery disk didn’t fix it; I had to reinstall everything.

That's frustrating. It seems like a questionable patch, as Logan from TekSyndicate experienced the same problem.
