Hi everyone, I own an ASUS Rog Strix G16 that's just over a month old. Today I encountered an unusual issue while adjusting the brightness settings. I have two display adapters installed: Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce 4070 GPU. When I pressed the brightness up and down buttons, the indicator appeared on the screen in Windows 11, but the actual brightness didn't change. I suspect this might be a recurring problem from when I bought it, though a simple restart resolved it after troubleshooting. Could anyone offer some advice? Is this a significant concern? I'm not entirely sure what to do and wonder if it's just a temporary glitch rather than a hardware fault. Thanks.

Glitch in temperature. Occurred when I changed the panel from 60hz to 120hz on my 2017 Predator Helios 300.

Thank you for your message, this really helps ease my worries. It's logical since it was placed in sleep, then connected and disconnected at different frequencies before being reinserted.

Yeah too, it seems some laptops using Nvidia Optimus might struggle with changing refresh rates, especially at higher settings. Not sure what's happening with today's models...

It appears that contemporary technology is incredibly sophisticated, yet it often fails to function correctly!
