Apologies, you're right—it's a Netgear device. The Ax201 connects to the router on channel 44. The signal strength is -58 dB. According to the Wi-Fi Manager app, it shows 2.4 GHz with -46 dB. Isn't it strange that 2.4 GHz offers better range but slower speeds, while 5 GHz provides faster data but shorter range? That makes sense. Thanks for your clarification!

Have you attempted the antenna from the alternative WiFi adapter? Simply connect two of the three cables. Aftermarket antennas exist if this setup works better. Ensure the directional model supports 2x2 MIMO and faces the router; it might enhance performance. The challenge is figuring it out by testing. WiFi optimization often relies on experimentation.
