bought new pc had a question
Hello everyone, my name is ozan. I hope this is the right place for this message.
About a month ago, I bought a new PC. I play League of Legends and Battlefield V, but I usually get between 90-110 FPS. Now I only see 90 FPS on Battlefield, but 90 FPS on League of Legends? That’s a bit confusing.
To be honest, on my old PC when I played League of Legends, I also got around 90 FPS. That’s pretty strange, but I couldn’t run Battlefield V on my old machine either. It seems like I got the same FPS on League of Legends even though my PC was different.
Is there something wrong with my system or a bottleneck? I’m not sure what to do.
Here are my PC specifications:
- GPU: MSI RTX 2070 GAMING Z 8G
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- RAM: G.skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3000Mhz
- Motherboard: gigabyte x470 aorus ultra gaming
- PSU: 650 W Bronze
- OS: Windows 10 64 bits
My old PC specs:
- GPU: gtx 960 2 GB
- CPU: amd fx 8320 black edition 4.2 GHz
- Motherboard: msi 1070 gaming
- RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600Mhz
- PSU: 650 W Bronze
- OS: Windows 10 64 bits
It’s strange that I still get the same FPS on League of Legends despite the upgrade. Is there anything blocking my new PC?
I know some people might say FPS isn’t important, but I find it odd that I can’t run Battlefield V at 100 FPS with my new GPU and CPU.
Sorry if I sound confused—I’m not sure where to post this or how to get help. Also, my English isn’t perfect; I’m from Belgium.
Thank you for your time, and hopefully someone can help me out.
Likely due to RX technology, as it's a brand new card, NVIDIA hasn't improved the drivers yet and there are still updates needed. Also, the RAM might be limiting performance.
thanks for the prompt reply, will the change from 3000mhz to 3200mhz result in a significant difference?
