Bottlenecking!!..Really?
I received a Dell Inspiron 7567 with these specifications—I7 7th gen 2.80GHz, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1050ti 4GB, API - DirectX 11. After installing Assassin's Creed Origin and adjusting drivers and graphics settings via NVIDIA Geforce Experience and the control panel, the FPS increased to 30-45. Why?
There might be a problem with the software or hardware. You should be able to run 60fps at 1080p all low; if not, there could be an issue. Have you tried running DDU in safe mode and reinstalling the drivers? There might be power or thermal throttling involved. Are you using the original power brick? Did you check your i7 7700HQ on XTU? Is MSi Afterburner active on the GPU?
There is a limitation on the GPU, but it’s not a CPU issue since the CPU is handling the game much more quickly than the GPU (21ms versus 122ms).
The notebook version of the 1050 Ti should be able to run the game at 1080p in high settings around 30 FPS or faster. NotebookCheck reports it should reach about 70 FPS on 720p low.
As suggested by others, ensure the laptop is connected with the original power brick and set the power profile to Balanced or High Performance. Also check the thermal performance.
I tested all options. Despite adjusting every setting, the benchmark still showed high FPS, but after installing Afterburner and running the game without changes, it kept crashing.
It's a poor performance. The system runs at 4770K with 4.3GHz, functioning as a slideshow in big cities. High CPU usage is common; a 6-core minimum is required for smooth 60fps.
