I'm setting up a PC for PUBG streaming. I was considering a 9700K with an 1660 Super, 16GB RAM, targeting 1440p at 90-120fps. For budget reasons, I’m thinking about downgrading to a 9600K and wondering if the lower core count will still handle the streaming workload.

Based on my friend's previous knowledge about Ryzen, we're shifting our preference to Intel. I don't have any prior experience with Ryzen myself.

He mentioned the system ran sluggishly, had occasional overheating, consumed a lot of power, experienced frequent crashes, and was slow overall. Eventually, he decided to swap his whole setup for an Intel version.
