For you, it seems like both options are outdated. Eventually, you'll need to handle both. For me, I’d replace the CPU and motherboard, though I’m uncertain about that specific configuration. I’d stick with a budget gaming card and upgrade it once new GPUs arrive. The concern is I’m not confident those GPUs will keep up with future needs. CPUs are more reliable. Upgrading the GPU would be necessary, but right now it doesn’t look like the best time. Others might see things differently.
