Consider trying Morrowind once more. I haven’t played Oblivion yet, but I enjoyed Skyrim a while back and found it frustrating after about an hour. The menus and inventory felt clunky and outdated, using lists instead of smooth controls. I remember it was more like drag-and-drop with many windows open. Playing Morrowind as a kid brought back a lot of nostalgia, so I’m curious but unsure if revisiting it would be worth it. It might not live up to the memories, but I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes.

The only sure way to discover I’m aware of potential issues with reinstalling Morrowind is through personal experience, even though those memories remain wonderful.

Absolutely bizarre. Those expressions didn’t hold up over time. Still, I’ll admit I had strong memories of the Thieves Guild storyline in Oblivion. It gave me a clear sense of progression and a satisfying ending.
