Boots slowly following a reset of the BIOS and overclocking process.
After a few months i attempted to overclock my CPU (it worked before and then stopped going back), but something broke... I kept seeing blue screens. So i decided to reset the BIOS settings. After that, my boot time became slow, and even when i tried to overclock again, I still got those blue screens. Should I remove the CMOS battery or not?
Yeah, it's not possible to alter the settings from IDE to AHCI after the system is up. (Just a note, SSDs perform better with AHCI or RAID mode. If you need to reload the OS, adjust the configuration before starting the installation)
What is the current storage capacity and its usage? Is it over 80% full?
SSDs behave differently from older HDDs... they tend to struggle when more than 75% of their space is used.
