Hello, I just installed Ubuntu but ended up with incorrect partitions. Instead of starting Windows, it prompts for automatic repair. I had a chance to make a bootable Windows 10 USB from Ubuntu and then formatted the disk, but I can’t boot into the USB now—it keeps restarting even though BIOS seems fine.

The monkey trick: Turn off the drive and check if it grabs the key. If not, reset the CMOS manually and attempt again. When that fails, consider a full BIOS refresh if feasible. Maybe another person has a better approach. Updated August 1, 2022 by Bombastinator
