I’m hoping everyone has a great day. My problem is with my motherboard—it only boots with the original drive, but it has a corrupted Windows version. I’ve used two good drives, but I can’t install a new OS because it won’t boot from them. I tried two USB drives that I regularly use for Windows installs, and everything seems to work fine. Still, it won’t start. Would a BIOS update help? My motherboard is an ASUS P8H61-MLXPLUS with an i3 2100 and 6GB RAM, a GPU that looks like a GTX 710 or similar.

I managed to start it but there was some damage on the back of the board.
