Does the choice of drive affect the outcome? It could be that one isn't communicating well with the controller, repeatedly attempting until it gives up. You might also exchange the data cables to see if that resolves the issue. If the fault remains with the drive, it's likely defective. If it traces back to the cable or port, then that component is faulty.
They mentioned the boot device, I didn’t include it in the post now. After editing, it’s fine. The issue doesn’t appear unless I connect them together. After about 8 minutes everything works perfectly, no problems. If the drive is faulty, I’m unsure about trusting Smart, but I could share the boot logs once the black screen happens (around 8 minutes). I also tried cleaning the CMOS, thinking the BIOS was broken, but it didn’t help.
I attempted to change the SATA ports I use, opting for a PCIe card instead of the standard M.2 slots. It seems two of the six ports aren’t initializing properly, while the others boot up quickly again. I’m sorry for any inconvenience, and it appears a software issue was the main problem.
