Hi
I’m not entirely sure if this is the best place to seek assistance, but I’m having trouble finding a solution online. Recently upgrading to Windows 11, I adjusted some settings in msconfig and suspect I might have selected the wrong version of Windows as my default boot option. This seems to be the only clue I have. After restarting, I see the ASUS logo, and the motherboard cycles through colors and beeps once, indicating it’s successfully POSTing, but this keeps happening until I press f2 to enter BIOS. It looks like my boot manager might be corrupted, preventing a Windows boot, so I downloaded a Windows installation via the media creation tool on a USB drive and attempted to boot from it. However, it doesn’t appear as an option in the BIOS.

I’ve tried various fixes I found online, such as enabling or disabling CSM, but none have worked for me. My PC was purchased from PCS a few years ago, and I haven’t faced this issue before. I’m using an ASUS x570-F motherboard and running BIOS version 5031. Please let me know if any additional details are required.

I would really appreciate guidance if someone can help me through this, as my computer is currently non-functional.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide complete system details. List your specifications in the following format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Also include the age of the PSU, along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
Have you attempted to clear your CMOS?
Following an upgrade to Windows 11 a few days ago, do you mean you upgraded via the internal method on Windows 10? If so, it's recommended to reinstall the OS after creating a bootable USB installer for Windows 11.
I made adjustments in msconfig and believe I selected the incorrect Windows version as the default boot option; this is the only information I can offer at the moment.
Can you clarify further?

Successfully started from a new USB and switched the default boot option, it seems the original USB wasn’t being recognized. It appears I may have incorrectly selected the wrong drive as the default. I think I set it up mistakenly, thinking that was the correct setting. I’m uncertain why my current boot entry shows Windows 10 even though I’m using Windows 11. Please help clarify this discrepancy.
