Your PC freezes during startup with the Windows logo displayed. You must disable the UPS and then restart it to resolve the issue. This problem has persisted since yesterday. No recent changes were made to your system.

I powered off my UPS and then restarted it; when I did, my PC began to boot up automatically.

Everyone seems confused about what's going on. I checked my PC and replaced the CMOS battery, but it still doesn't progress beyond the loading screen. The icons start spinning and then freeze halfway. It also happens when the automatic repair window appears. I can access the BIOS settings. 20220330_161734.mp4

It feels like the system is restarting automatically during recovery.

It might happen if you activated CSM or Legacy mode and your operating system was set up in UEFI. Turning off the power supply unit (PSU) and then restarting the UPS could work. You might wonder if simply turning off the PSU in the same way as the UPS would produce the same outcome. Probably it won’t matter much until you can restore it to its previous failure state.

I kept this machine untouched over the last three years. Here’s what I did: first, took out each RAM module. Then placed the first stick into the nearest CPU slot. After that, the computer started working properly. Next, swapped the first stick with the second one. When I tried to boot again, it stuck at the logo again—tried a few times. Finally, I put the first stick back in its regular second position and the second stick in the fourth slot. Now everything functions normally.
