I'm not very familiar with PCs, but my computer has been experiencing boot problems for about a day. It's an old build from before production, so I suspect it's not a hardware issue. Everything I've looked up online hasn't helped. When it powers on, all the indicators and fans work fine, but the monitor shows no DP signal. It then displays a 'checking media presence' error, claiming media is present and attempting PXE over IPv4/IPv6. In BIOS I tried to prioritize my hard drive as the boot device, but it only listed 'PXE IPv6 Realtek PCIe GBE family controller' and then IPv4. I enabled CSM, set legacy boot modes, and after restarting, it showed a boot error screen again. I went back to BIOS and found only a SATA drive available. After resetting everything, it returned to the original error page. I think Windows might be corrupted, but I'm unsure what to do next. My motherboard is from ASUS, so the BIOS settings differ from the standard version.

It seems like your drive might be failing or the Windows installation could be corrupted. Try booting from a USB drive or CD to check if the system recognizes your storage. The lack of a DP signal might relate to how your monitor is connected—possibly switching to a different input. I’m making an educated guess based on what you described, but I can’t troubleshoot directly. Let me know if you need further help.
