I have updated this note in the Troubleshooting area. Please confirm if this violates any guidelines; I'll remove it if needed. My experience is with a new PC using an ASUS TUF Gaming B560M Plus. Switching the extension on and immediately pressing the desktop power button causes a brief delay before booting. After waiting a few seconds, pressing the power button again results in a smooth start-up. I also tried keeping the extension always on without using the switch after shutdown, but it still boots normally. My question remains: why does my new PC require a short pause when I press the power button right after switching the extension? This behavior didn’t occur with my previous system that used the same PSU. The shop mentioned this is normal for some motherboards, but I’m still unsure. Do you have anyone using the ASUS TUF Gaming B560M Plus who can confirm this is typical? Also, note that turning off or unplugging the desktop after shutdown can affect the PSU due to inrush current—this habit is discouraged.
