Hello everyone, I'm curious if anyone knows how to install a new BIOS on my motherboard using a Lenovo product. I attempted it, but during installation I was told the BIOS wasn't verified. Thanks!

The BIOS file clearly isn't designed for your specific board; otherwise it would function properly. Various boards use different chipsets and controllers, each requiring its own microcode for correct operation. Incorrect microcode prevents proper functioning, which is why the system might fail. This is why it's important to ensure you're using the right configuration for your hardware.

It was clear from the start that this was the reason I created my own version using a modified copy of my original bios, yet it didn’t function properly.

Keep trying until you break the board. That's your fate.

The chances are the checksum for the modified file isn't accurate. But remember—if the checksum isn't correct, you can lock the BIOS chip. This prevents future flashing since the file after flashing locks the chip permanently. Modifying BIOS is dangerous; some call it a dark art. If you're unsure about proper BIOS flashing, avoid it or risk damaging your system. You've been warned.

Obtain a fan controller, you'll end up much better off than what you're aiming for right now.

It's understandable you didn't consider it at first, but can I get a graph to help adjust the fan curve based on CPU temperature?
