Blury or distorted live broadcast
Blury or distorted live broadcast
Hello, my name is Saf. I've been trying to stream on YouTube and Twitch for over a year, but the quality has been inconsistent. I'm using OBS and Stream Labs Obs, yet the issue persists. I've switched internet providers, but everything seems new on my PC (i7 10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX 3070 Ti, Samsung 970 NVMe SSD, fiber internet at 35MB/second). The stream stays crystal clear until I move or interact with the game, then it becomes blurry or pixelated. After stopping movement, the stream returns to perfect clarity without any frame drops. I've checked all settings online, but the problem continues.
I've never encountered a livestream without this issue; it stems from the restricted bitrates, particularly on Twitch. This explains why I struggle to grasp the appeal of watching live gameplay—low motion quality makes it hard to follow. Apparently, those who push to fix it rely on CPU encoding for optimal compression, unlike hardware solutions. If Twitch adopts AV1, things should improve significantly, but I doubt they'll prioritize it due to the extensive resources required for transcode.
