Greetings, I recently noticed a problem where distant objects display pixelation unexpectedly, as illustrated by the image of the wall near my vehicle. Additionally, loading elements like vehicles, foliage, and structures is noticeably slow unless I approach them more closely.

System Specifications:
Processor: i7-4770
Graphics Card: RX 560 2GB
Memory: 16 GB DDR3
Motherboard: Dell XPS 8700
Storage: Liteonit LMS-32L6M mSata 32GB
Hard Drive: WDC WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0 500GB
Hard Drive: STM3500418AS 500GB (Drive CSmile
Power Supply: Dell Stock 460W

During gameplay, navigate to Esc>Settings>Graphics and locate Distance Scaling. This controls the LOD (Level of Detail), specifying how textures transition from low detail to high detail as objects recede into the distance.

Setting Distance Scaling to 10% replicates console-level LOD, resulting in a poor visual experience where objects may appear to materialize unexpectedly while driving. Furthermore, this setting has minimal effect on system performance, allowing for substantial increases without significant impact.

As detailed in the linked resource below, boosting Distance Scaling yields most noticeable improvements within urban environments. For systems like a 560 2GB, it’s recommended to leave Advanced Graphics settings unchanged; if adjustments have been made, reverting them to their original configuration is advised.

The following guide comprehensively outlines and visually demonstrates the performance implications of each graphics setting: https://www.gamersnexus.net/game-bench/1...tion-guide

Could you please detail your system preferences? A possible cause might be that you’ve increased them excessively, consuming a significant amount of video memory, and causing the game to struggle to maintain performance, potentially leading to suboptimal texture loading.

It’s advisable to avoid demanding visual configurations in games featuring expansive, intricate cities when your graphics card has only 2GB of VRAM. Monitor your system’s performance using MSI Afterburner, observing CPU and GPU usage, memory allocation, VRAM utilization, and frame rates displayed on screen. Pay attention to any instances of blurring or distortion during gameplay.

The screenshot you provided isn't sufficient for accurately diagnosing the issue, nor does it necessarily indicate a problem. I’m not observing any pixelation, and the atmospheric effects – fog and rain – would complicate visual analysis even if I were.

It’s strange that my graphics card utilization recently decreased significantly. Previously, it consistently operated at 100%, but now it fluctuates between 30 and 50%. My GPU temperature is typically within the range of 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, while my CPU temperature sits around 70 to 75 degrees Celsius. The CPU usage is also between 30 and 50%. This reduction in GPU load occurs when I am accelerating quickly.
