The differences lie in how each device connects and handles Bluetooth. A USB dongle provides a separate Bluetooth interface, while a PCi-E card integrates Bluetooth into the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip, affecting signal handling. The antenna on the PCi-E card primarily supports Wi-Fi signals, not specifically enhancing Bluetooth performance.

Even if a USB port is connected at the front, a PCIe connection with antennas on the back might perform better. You should use a device with an adjustable antenna positioned where it has a clear line of sight to the gadget. If the back antennas are present, the PC case may block the signal.
