Bluetooth issue after update. Assistance needed!
Yesterday I swapped out my CPU, MOBO and RAM. I saw the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth section of the MOBO was a bit damaged, but I accidentally broke some pins while taking it apart, so I didn’t plan to send it back. I just attempted to put the PC together using it. The Bluetooth can pair and work once connected, but it doesn’t let me add or remove devices from the paired list. I’m hoping there’s a software fix instead of replacing it, and I’d rather be without my PC for a week. I’ve tried turning it on/off, restarting, updating drivers, and clearing it from the device manager.
You replaced your motherboard with one that includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You need to use the antenna provided with the board and install the corresponding drivers from the manufacturer's website. I’m not entirely clear on your request or what steps you’ve already attempted.
The updated motherboard includes WiFi and Bluetooth features. I placed the antennas during installation, and the system automatically installed or updated the drivers. The problem I'm facing is that Bluetooth doesn't allow me to connect to a paired device or remove it from the list. It can still search for new devices and pair with them, even those already paired.
