It's a new setup that someone else made, and I'm working on fixing the issues. I refreshed the UEFI/BIOS settings. I'm encountering three different BSODs in Windows 11. Sometimes it triggers CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, and it seems to skip writing any dump logs every time it crashes. I ran Prime95 for stress testing, which produced another bluescreen: UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION. During a reboot, I got a third screen: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. No logs appear even though Windows is configured to save them. The system has a 2TB M.2 NVME Samsung EVO drive and two DIMMs of GSkill DDR5 6000MHz RAM. Despite this, I haven't seen any errors after a crash. I thought the drive might be faulty, so I used Samsung Magician to inspect it. The short self-test came back clean. Crystal Disk Mark also showed no problems. I've noticed other computers with similar random BSODs due to bad RAM, so I ran the built-in Windows Memory Test and it passed. The computer has a Sound Blaster audio card and a high-end Nvidia GPU from the 4K series. I tried MSI Kombuster without any issues with the GPU. Any suggestions for next steps?
Critical_Process_Died often appears with damaged OS files, just like Bad_System_Config_Info. Both raise doubts about storage integrity, particularly after a fresh installation. Unexpected_Store_Exception indicates a storage issue. I’m not confident in NVMe diagnostics (SMART data is largely unreliable), so I’d consider swapping out the Samsung drive and installing the OS elsewhere.
