Hello everyone, I'm testing the new DA at top settings and most of the time it runs smoothly at 60-100 fps, rarely dropping below 60. However, after playing for a few hours, my PC suddenly blue screens. The error message says the video scheduler hit an unexpected fatal error. On BlueScreenView, the first two processes are always dxgmms1.sys and watchdog.sys. I've installed the latest drivers, so there seems to be nothing wrong there. If anyone else is facing the same issue or has a solution, please let me know. My hardware includes two MSI GTX970 gaming cards, an Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard, an i7 5820k CPU, and a GPU.

Performing a fresh installation of the drivers. Is your GPU running at an overclocked speed? Do you have DA installed on either an SSD or HDD?

I've just completed a fresh setup and my GPU isn't being overclocked, while my CPU has been upgraded to 4.0 instead of the default 3.3. The system runs on an HDD.

Your game frequently crashes on an MSI GTX970 as well, though you don’t see a bluescreen. It seems to trigger a DirectX error. You might want to turn off SLI or lower your graphics card’s clock speed. Lowering the clock can resolve the crash even if other games run smoothly. The bluescreen could be another side effect from using SLI.

Occasionally I encounter a DirectX issue while using a Gigabyte GTX 970, but it doesn’t freeze the screen. It might run better without SLI, as scaling isn’t ideal at the moment.

I turned off SLI and everything is functioning properly—no visual issues, no unwanted plant-like behavior, and no blue screens. I’m not sure what caused it, but I’m glad it’s resolved.
