I recently checked my account and updated it. I removed my previous phone number, but when I entered a new one, it reported an invalid number. I own Cricket Wireless and have used it for years. I stopped using it after switching to Wow, missing several backup spots. These extra spots are usually granted for features like Blizzard Authenticator and SMS verification. I opened a support ticket, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Others in forums seem to be facing similar problems, possibly starting in July. It’s frustrating having to switch to a more expensive plan with another provider. My phone works well with Steam Guard, Google Authenticator, and similar security tools. Blizzard appears to have a problem on their end.
