Blind audio with distracting sounds in my ears
I have an i5 10500 + B560M Aorus Elite motherboard with a 16GB RAM kit at 3000MHz. My GPU is an RX 6700 XT and the PSU is either 700W or 750W from Chieftec. Based on what I've seen, this problem usually comes from software issues like a failed driver update. It often needs a clean install to resolve completely, as it's typically caused by a glitch rather than hardware failure. Any suggestions on why you're still seeing it after updating, or how to fix it? This is getting frustrating for me.
You're asking about unusual sounds when the screen goes black, suspecting GPU or RAM issues. It seems the RAM might be causing strange behavior, and you're wondering if removing XMP settings could help. You also mentioned experiencing problems after a fresh build and wondered if it was resolved over time. Hope this gives you some clarity.
it hasn't been rebuilt recently but has been an issue for some time. I decided to address it now since it's been causing problems lately. It isn't a GPU problem; the persistent black screen with the "BRRRRRRRR" sound comes from CPU or software issues that occur under certain conditions. The system randomly displays a black screen, and I can only power it off using the button. In the log panel, the error is noted as me shutting it down forcefully, not recognizing the black screen as a significant issue. The XMP profile isn't related to this problem either, because I had a set of four RAM sticks at 2400MHz. This dual-channel setup is brand new.
