My pc randomly goes black while playing games. The keyboard is completely unresponsive and sound is too. Nothing happens until I restart. I updated my bios, swapped my ram, swapped my ssd, swapped my psu, tried many different bios versions, upgraded to windows 11, completely reinstalled windows, tried on all games, and nothing has worked. My specs are sapphire rx 6650 xt, Ryzen 5 9600x, 750w psu msi mag, asus prime b650m a ax ii, 2 teamgroup SSDs, one 512 4th gen boot drive and other 1 tb 3rd gen, Teamgroup 32 gb 6000 ram. Everything is at default settings.

Minimal setup: one OS drive, one RAM stick, no GPU. Place the motherboard on flat cardboard for easier access. Remove the GPU if using it. Use Intel IGPU instead. Updated March 16, 2025 by leclod

I understand it isn't the RAM, SSD, or power supply. My focus is on the motherboard and GPU. It's tough to recreate this setup recently. I'm moving to a different RX 6600 to check for GPU problems.

You could just attempt the igpu. Ah...since it rarely occurs. Edited March 16, 2025 by leclod

I understand the problem isn't the RAM, SSD, or power supply. My focus is on the motherboard, particularly the GPU. It's tough to recreate it since it hasn't happened recently. I'm moving to a different RX 6600 to check for GPU issues. The CPU stays under 80% and the GPU stays below 65%.
