Hello everyone, I own an i3-10100F and MSI H410M-A Pro. I recently upgraded to an i5 11600KF and H470M-K. Now I’m experiencing black screens, especially when using alt + tab in games, which forces me to restart my computer. I ran tests with Windows RAM Test and MemTest86, performed a CPU stress test and benchmarks—everything looks normal. I assumed the new motherboard might be the issue, but after replacing it, the problem disappeared. It’s been happening for three days in CS2. Today I ran an OCCT Power test for 30 minutes without any issues, tried FurMark for 10 minutes, and again nothing happened. I did a benchmark in GTA V with alt + tab, and it occurred once more. Please help me—I’m really concerned this is happening for three days. My RAMs are 2400 and 3000 MHz, but they’re showing 2133 MHz instead. It’s strange.

My old setup: GPU – XFX RX 6600XT, CPU – i3-10100-F, RAM – 8x2 Corsair 3000MHz, G-Skill 2400 MHz, Mainboard – MSI H410M-A PRO.
My new setup: GPU – XFX RX 6600XT, CPU – i5-11600KF, RAM – 8x2 Corsair 3000MHz, G-Skill 2400 MHz, Mainboard – Gigabyte H470M-K.

Note: BIOS updated, GPU is the latest version; I thought it was driver-related. All drivers are up to date.

FSP Epsilon 80 Plus 600 :/ I understand the PSU is quite outdated, but I haven't faced such an issue before. I replaced the CPU and motherboard. During testing, I set the CPU's OC to 65W at 3.9GHz.

I'm really concerned, I just got a new CPU (i5-11400f) but the screen is still black, could it be the motherboard issue?

I'm currently using a different PSU, yet it's still functioning.

I switch the CPU while keeping the motherboard intact.

Yeah I bought today i5-11400f, but I didn’t test the motherboard since my old one couldn’t handle the 11th gen CPU. I’ll refund it. I’m running memtest86 now – it’s been about an hour and twenty minutes, with only 3/4 passes and no errors. I just want to ask: if the motherboard is faulty, why don’t I see a black screen with my old CPU? 😖

would have benefited from a CPU equipped with an IGPU, allowing testing with the IGPU.
