I need some assistance. Right now I'm working on my overclocking projects. Previously, I used MSI afterburner. Recently, I discovered zotec firestorm. I did some reckless overclocking—accidentally set the power level to 10 without realizing it could cause instability. Now I'm really worried. I went into safe mode and removed firestorm, but my GPU is a GT 730. I don’t have the budget for a new GPU and am trying to fix this without buying anything new. Please help me out. Thank you for a great day and take care.

I have a suggestion.
Check the bios settings and adjust the GPU clock speed accordingly since it might not recognize the on-OS software used for initial overclocking. Reduce the clock by the same MHz you overclocked and see if it stabilizes. If the issue continues, let me know and I’ll do my best to assist.
Always follow online advice carefully before making changes.
Use proper tools and take it slow.
Best regards,

Dragon_toastr explains the situation clearly. They advise against overclocking a non-K CPU, emphasizing that K CPUs are designed for overclocking and are more expensive. Non-K CPUs are better suited for home use and gaming, not for high-speed overclocking. They also warn about the risks involved and caution against experimenting with locked CPUs. The original message was posted in the wrong forum.

It seems I can't get into Windows since it's always stuck on black. I don't have a choice. 😞

Hey sorry for the delayed response. Here are the details you provided.
Motherboard: P5KPL-AM EPU (an older model, arrived with the PC and I've had it since around 2010)
GPU: GT 730 (I updated my GPU about 1-2 years ago)

Another inquiry, could you tell me what processor you have? That way I can see if it includes built-in graphics and whether we should consider downclocking.
