Black Ops 2 - updating the executable
I'm having trouble getting Black Ops 2 running properly. When I start the game, I see two different messages: one saying "updating executable" and another asking if I want safe mode or normal mode. Either way, nothing changes and I can't make progress. The game also asks me to choose a mode but the screen goes black, making it impossible to use any controls. I've tried many fixes online—clearing cache, changing resolution, disabling extensions, updating drivers—but nothing works. I'm stuck and need some help.
