The Ryzen 2000 has already seen a significant discount. Likely, you might notice the 2600X price drop—though it’s a bit too late if you’re after performance. There’s really little incentive to buy that CPU now; if you need affordability, go for the 2600, and if speed matters, opt for the 3600. The rest of the models in the range are already competitively priced. Still, things can change. It’s possible some stores with ample inventory are trying to offload older stock ahead of 2020.

I didn’t catch the 1700 deal but grabbed the 1600 model. I anticipate comparable offers for the 2000 series. Right now, the Ryzen 5 2600 is priced at $117 and the Ryzen 7 2700 at $159. Including an extra $50 for a lower-end B450 or X470 would be quite close to these figures. My forecast suggests around $179,2700 for B450 combos and $149,2600 for B450 models.
